- Energy infrastructure, generation & storage
- Farming & land use
- Bio-products & bio-chemicals
- Recycling & waste
- And others
We will be reviewing applicants based on their potential impact, sustainability, and suitability for this program. Specifically, selection criteria will include:
- Whether the entrepreneur is currently measuring, or will be able to measure, the GHG reductions of their technology in Ontario.
- The potential scale and impact of the solution – we will be using Project Drawdown’s as a guide, while prioritizing those most relevant to Ontario.
- That the enterprise is at the Discovery, Validation or Efficiency stage.
- That the entrepreneur is working full-time on the enterprise, and has been working on it for at least a year.
- That the enterprise is based in Ontario.
We will select up to 40 startups to come to a pitch day to present to our selection committee for 20 minutes on either July 24 or 25, and up to 20 will be invited to join the program.
