COVID-19 IMPACT REPORT
CSI’s members are creating an inclusive and regenerative economy, one that is good for people, planet and profit.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, COVID-19 forced CSI to close our doors—for the first time in our 16 years—as part of the global effort to flatten the curve.
To understand the impact of the COVID-19 shutdown on our members, and how we can best support them, we quickly conducted a Member Needs Survey. Results of the survey are both sobering (the financial and other challenges are real and deep for over half our members), but they are also inspiring and reaffirm our core values (many of those who can afford to pay will continue to do so because of their belief in what CSI stands for).
The survey results (see our COVID-19 Impact Report here) have been instrumental as we develop strategies to mitigate the financial impact of COVID-19 losses to both CSI and our members. Find out more about our emergency Community Rent Pool and the Community Resilience Fund as well as our CSI Supports initiatives.
Together, we will get to the other side of this. Together, we are creating the world we need now, more than ever – one that fosters caring and wellbeing. One that puts people and planet first.
