Grab your mitts, grab your toques – we’re moving outdoors for our annual Holiday Gathering!
The CSI holiday party is the place for CSI members, their boards, and volunteers to celebrate the collective impact of this community together. It’s a time to meet new friends, reflect on the past year with old ones, and dance and be merry!
Of course, we want to celebrate you and be safe and we’re always ready to innovate. Last year we partied online in our virtual CSI space on gather.town. This year the party is happening IRL, with a twist on our traditional Annex gathering: we’re transforming the parking lot of the Randolph Theatre, adjacent to CSI Annex, into a festive holiday fairground!
While some things change, some things never do, we know it wouldn’t be a CSI Holiday party without cookies and cocktails! This year we’re hosting a Community Cookie Bar (sign up to share your favourite nibbles) and a cocktail bar full of surprises. And of course, we’ll be presenting our annual Bow Tie Award (nominate your favourite community builders now!)
Worried about the cold? Don’t be! There will be heaters and lighting for comfort and a hot chocolate bar to keep you toasty. Plus the enchanted voice and piano of local musicians Tringa Rexhepi and Scott Christian will keep our bodies moving with festive tunes.
When: Thursday, December 9 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm
Where: Magically transformed Randolph Theatre parking lot adjacent to CSI Annex at 720 Bathurst Ave.
Bring: your festive masks, warm mitts, vaccine verification, and ID
Planet Friendly Bonus: bring a reusable mug for your hot coco

Washrooms and warm up space will be available inside CSI Annex! You’ll be asked to wear your mask inside and we ask that no drinks enter the building.
Covid real-talk: for the health of the community we’re capping the outdoor capacity to 100 people at a time and doing vaccination verification checks at the gate. Masks are encouraged when not eating or drinking – make them festive to celebrate the season! Contract tracing is in place – please add the phone numbers of each of your guests. Of course, if the public health situation changes, we’ll update you.
