Introduction to Agile and Scrum | 1-Day Intensive

Join us for a 1-day intensive introduction to Agile & Scrum, hosted by CSI Member Agile Starts. Register on Eventbrite.

About this Event

Agile is a set of values and principles that encourage collaboration, getting things done, and adapting to rapid change. Scrum is a lightweight framework that applies those Agile values and principles through a set of rules and activities.

Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) Members and community are invited to a 1-Day intensive training on Agile and Scrum hosted by CSI Member, Regnard Raquedan, of Agile Starts.

This will not be a typical training of “downloading” information from an instructor, but rather an interactive experience to learn Agile and Scrum framework concepts, and demonstrate how these methods are used in practice through group activities, personal reflection, and event simulation.

This training is designed for social entrepreneurs, social purpose organizations and companies that are seeking to reduce trial and error when it comes to leveraging Agile and Scrum. Join us to be a better Agile practitioner. Participants who complete this training will receive the Agile Starts: Your Path to ScrumMaster digital credential.

Topics covered include:

  • Agile Manifesto
  • Scrum Framework
  • Roles and Functions: Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team
  • Artifacts: Backlog and Items
  • Process and Events: Definition of Done, Sprints

Please note that this training will be delivered virtually through Zoom. Registered participants will be sent a Zoom link on March 26. Don’t see an email from us? Check your spam folder in case it ended up there.
