LEVEL UP is a monthly speaker series dedicated to personal and professional development for young womxn. We are committed to continuing to provide these valuable networking and learning opportunities at this time by moving the event ONLINE.


In celebration of International Women's Day our March event will be our very 1st panel featuring a diverse group of womxn that have built successful careers full of passion, purpose, and impact!

The panel will be sharing their career journey, job search tips and tricks, challenges faced as a female in the workplace, how they achieved tremendous impact and success in their career, and invaluable insight about purpose driven careers.

We are so excited to have the following speakers joining us...

Claire-Hélène Heese-Boutin is a Community Development Coordinator with West Neighbourhood House. Her work focuses on ecological economics, poverty reduction, cooperative economies and social finance.

Jillian Rodak is a Senior Consultant, Sustainability and Climate Change at Deloitte. She has spent over 10 years working with social entrepreneurs, collaborating with the brains behind the social finance sector, and consulting for corporations that are committed to their community and environmental sustainability.

Victoria Sauveplane is a Research Associate and Manager of Global Health Projects at the University of Toronto. She is also a freelance Nutrition Survey Consultant. Victoria's career focus has been to reduce health disparities among marginalized populations through evidence-based approaches in both humanitarian and development contexts.

Yusra S. Khan is the Director of Market Conduct at Coast Capital Savings. After studying Economics & International Development at McGill University she built a successful career in non-profit, social justice, criminal and regulatory law, and financial services. She currently works at a certified B Corporation and is passionate about diversity and inclusion.

Jennifer Couldrey is the Executive Director of The Upside Foundation of Canada where she helps startup founders make an impact. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada by WXN, Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders by Corporate Knights, and one of Ryerson DMZ's 30 Inspirational Women Making a Difference in Tech.

Amanda Armstrong is the founder of Athari, which means "impact" in Kiswahili. She is a passionate social entrepreneur, career coach, sales consultant, and motivational speaker. Amanda built a successful 10-year career filled with passion and purpose working in non-profit, international development, social entrepreneurship, and the start-up scene. She launched Athari to coach and empower young womxn to find their dream jobs, achieve their greatest potential, and build purpose driven careers that they love.
