Social impact work can be draining. Under the current system, you as a changemaker may be going through what seems like an endless cycle of exhaustion and feeling like you’ve never done enough, but holding onto these feelings can cause you to go further down the spiral. In our next Lunch and Learn, CSI Member Laura Hartley wants to help changemakers heal burnout culture under capitalism and deepen their impact by bridging systems, story, and self-work.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the ways you have internalised capitalism,
- Understand burnout as a system problem, identifying its links to capitalism and climate change, and
- Learn the tools and practice of Getting Free, transforming systems from the inside out.
This event will take place on Monday, February 5, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST. CSI Members get in for free! Non-members can purchase tickets for $10. No one will be turned away due to costs. If this is a barrier, please send us a message at info[at]socialinnovation[dot]ca and we will follow up with a ticket discount code. Register now!
