Find out in this session led by writing coach David Silverberg, a CSI Annex member who writes regularly for news networks such as BBC News, The Washington Post, The Toronto Star, and many more. Learn how to come up with ideas and what makes an effective pitch to an editor. David will also share some tips on how to earn more income by working with brands. No experience in journalism or non-fiction writing is necessary.

David Silverberg is a freelance journalist, editor and writing coach who regularly writes for BBC News, The Washington Post, The Toronto Star, Business Insider, Popular Science, Ars Technica, NOW Magazine, Fodor’s, and many more. He also is a content creator for brands such as 23andme, ATB, Blue J Legal, Muzeum and Aphria. For 12 years, he was editor of DigitalJournal.com, an online news network with more than 250 contributors.
