By popular demand, CSI Member Francine Dick, CFP, leads this practical Lunch and Learn on how group health benefits work, how such benefits can help you attract and retain talent, and what options are available to your organization.

By the end of this event, attendees will be able to:

  • Grasp the basics of traditional group health plans,
  • Understand Health Spending Accounts, and
  • Appreciate how group health benefits can help your business attract and retain key employees.

This event will run from 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST on Monday, February 27.

About the Presenter:

For over 25 years as a financial advisor, Francine has helped hundreds of families in the GTA. Clients appreciate her non-judgemental approach, as well as her patience and open mindedness. She specializes in working with women transitioning into retirement as well as entrepreneurs and small businesses. She was born in Toronto where she still lives in the Roncesvalles neighborhood. As a sole support mother of 3 children, Francine understands the challenges we can face in our lives and our need to be prepared for life’s unexpected events. She also knows how important it is to lead a balanced life. Francine is a tireless volunteer and was the recipient of the Canada 125 Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her community service.

Francine is a Certified Financial Planner and has been an advisor with Carte Wealth Management Inc. since the summer of 2016 where independence allows her to provide the best service and products to her clients. As well as financial planning, Francine can help protect you against life’s uncertainties with insurance and build your future with investing. She is a Responsible Investment specialist, preferring investments that meet environmental, social and governance metrics. As the winner of Alterna Savings and Credit Union’s first Community Social Responsibility (CSR) Idol award, she had the opportunity of traveling to the Philippines with the Canadian Co-operative Association and observed firsthand the value of people working together for their mutual benefit. As a member of the Centre for Social Innovation, this is Francine’s outlook on life and in work.
