Lunch and Learn: Organizational Mindfulness

Are you stressed and curious about mindfulness as a solution? Do you struggle with being present in your work? Are you looking to expand your appetite and knowledge of ways to bring mindfulness to your organization and workplace?

Register Here for a Lunch and Learn session with CSI Member Devon Walker of DeepLight Coaching, participants will be introduced to mindfulness for organizations. Employees and leaders will learn how to reduce stress at work, increase focus, and lead with presence. 

By the end of this event you will: 

  • Have an increased awareness of mindfulness as a tool to reduce stress and increase focus. 
  • Experience increased presence and mindfulness. 
  • Gain at least one tool you can use immediately at your desk.

The event will run from 12:00pm-1:00pm EDT. It will be an experiential session, and the last 15 minutes will be reserved for Q&A. All participants will receive a Mindfulness 101 takeaway.

About the Speaker: 

Devon Walker is an Organizational Mindfulness Teacher and Coach. He is a writer, dancer, musician, nature lover, and has an education as a philosopher and communicator. He has had careers as a strategic planning/leadership development consultant, social impact entrepreneur, and leader of product teams in the tech industry. Devon has spent the last 8 years practicing and training in a variety of mindfulness, meditation and somatic techniques. He has studied under a variety of teachers, coaches, and guides in the traditions of Buddhist Insight Meditation, Men’s Work, Life Coaching, Bhakti Yoga, Qi Gong/Tai Chi, Contact Dance, Psychedelic Integration, and Somatic Experiencing/Hakomi. He loves traveling, exploring, singing and feeling deeply connected to the world around him.
