Our Special Spaces – Markham

Join Ontario Nature Youth Council members Grace and Julianne and the City of Markham’s park staff for a riparian zone restoration planting at Robinson Creek. 🌱

Learn about the importance of riparian zones, wetlands, and pollinators while making a difference in your community. High school youth can also earn volunteer hours!

What are Our Special Spaces events? Each year, Ontario Nature Youth Council members organize conservation volunteering events across Ontario. These events, called Our Special Spaces (OSS) are youth-led nature restoration projects. For more information on OSS events, check out our OSS webpage.

Plants, gloves, trowels, and light snacks will be provided.  This event is generously supported by the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and the Regional Municipality of York.
