Join Ontario Nature Youth Council members Derek and Luke and the Town of Whitby’s park staff for a pollinator planting at a naturalized portion of a dry storm water pond in Vanier Park (Whitby). 🌱
Learn about the importance of pollinators and wetlands while making a difference in your community. High school students can also earn volunteer hours!
What are Our Special Spaces events? Each year, Ontario Nature’s Youth Council organizes conservation volunteering events across Ontario. These events, called Our Special Spaces (OSS) are youth-led nature restoration projects. For more information on OSS events, check out our OSS webpage.
Plants, trowels, gloves, and light snacks will be provided. This event is generously supported by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
