It’s our once a year big January show! And for the first time ever we’re joined by two incredible guest producers to make this a stories event like we’ve never had before.
Come in out of the cold and into the warmth of wonderful stories and an awesome community. Doors are at 8pm and show begins promptly at 9pm. Over the course of the evening we’ll be hearing from 6 speakers/storytellers, there will be a brief intermission in the middle, and you’re welcome to stick around afterwards to mingle.
We are requesting everyone to register. This is so we can have a very clear idea of numbers. It helps us to organize the safest event for you. Tickets are free but if possible please bring a snack for the snack table.
Here are the details:
- If you can, please bring a snack for the snack table
- We kindly ask that you stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
- We celebrate masks, although they are optional.
- There will be a bar where drinks can be purchased (a break from our normal BYOB tradition)
About Stories We Don’t Tell: There are some stories that we get really good at telling, we tell them to our friends, our coworkers, and even strangers at parties. We tell them because they are a part of us, and in doing so they build up our sense of self. There are also stories we don’t tell, maybe because they’re sad, or weird, or just a little too intimate. These truths are just as much a part of who we are, despite being erased from our day-to-day conversation. The Stories We Don’t Tell is a live event that gives you a window into experiences that are so often left unseen.
If you’re interested in telling a story with us at a future event please fill out this form. We provide workshops for each interested storyteller so that the storytellers are supported and the stories told are the best they can be.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email or message the organizers. We look forward to welcoming you on January 27th!
