completed your PhD or Masters in a Social Sciences or related discipline, you
now want to use your outstanding research skills for real-world research and
consulting projects that lead to practical tools that businesses, governments
and other organizations use. Being savvy
with technology and an exceptional communicator with strong writing and
analytical skills, you will be part of a team focused on project development, consulting,
literature reviews, market research, report writing, editing and knowledge
mobilization.

include:
1.
Literature reviews
- Reviews existing
body of knowledge on specific topic to provide foundation for current research
study. - Accurately maintain
a list of citations and sources. - Summarize findings
and identify key learning relevant to current research studies. - Write up findings in
final, publishable format.
2.
Project
Development
- Working as part of
the team that uses your research to build projects that enable leaders and
organizations to achieve their people strategies and organizational purposes. - Identifying and
seizing new ideas, enhancing learning, and implementing changes.
3.
Market Research
and Scans
- Conduct interviews,
focus groups and other market reviews to support current research study. - Conduct general
market and/or customer research to support Challenge Factory growth and
expansion.
4.
Report Writing and Presentation Development
- Create clear,
powerful reports, presentations, and infographics (supported by our marketing
team) to showcase key findings and highlight the results of research studies.
5. Knowledge Mobilization
- Work with marketing
and communications team members to ensure research findings, reports,
publications, articles, and tools make their way to the intended audience. - Identify new
opportunities to share Challenge Factory research in venues that amplify the
impact of the work and awareness of the brand.
6.
Editing
- Provide quality
editing skills for books to be published, reports, newsletters and other
documents that display Challenge Factory research.
7.
Special Projects
- Complete special
projects as assigned on time and on budget. - Identify any issues
or ways to improve the assignment or Intern program.

Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
You are smart, an
exceptional communicator with strong writing, research, and analytical skills. A
self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop strong
working relationships in a busy and virtual environment. Specifically, you
bring:
- PhD or Masters in a Social Sciences discipline.
- Research skills and experience focused on identifying
trends, key learnings, innovation, and unmet needs. - The ability to present complex information to a
variety of audiences. - Superior writing and editing skills.
- Qualitative analysis skills and experience.
- Networking and interpersonal skills to build
effective working relationships with management and peers while working in
remote and hybrid settings. - PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel skills suitable
to create and edit business documents. - Experience with qualitative and quantitative
research tools such as SPSS, Dovetail, etc.
In addition, it would be a bonus if you:
- Have a background in data visualization and/or
quantitative analysis. - Bring Project Management skills and experience.
- Are Bilingual in English and French.
