Role Type: Volunteer

Time Commitment: 10 hours/month

Job Description

The New Face of Inclusion Summit (NFOIS) is eager to connect with new audiences and engage our existing base through compelling social media initiatives. We’re seeking a social media coordinator to help us execute on our social media strategy. You will help manage the social media calendar across Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms, and actively engage with the online community—responding to comments, moderating discussions, etc. Additionally, you’ll monitor industry trends and social media performance metrics to advise on content adjustments.

About The New Face of Inclusion Summit

The New Face of Inclusion Summit is an annual inclusive leadership skills development summit, created to empower the leaders of today and tomorrow with the skills they need to adapt to the changing demands of the market, and embrace inclusive leadership. We’re a fresh voice on inclusive leadership and the future of work. Through workshops, panels, and keynotes, we support leaders to develop hard and soft skills required for transformational and inclusive leadership, provide employers with guidance needed to build strong leadership teams that prioritize inclusion, and educate and advocate the positive social & business outcomes of inclusive leadership.

This is a grassroots initiative, entering its third year, looking to expand from an inspired one woman show into a thriving, highly attended summit and engaged community. We need your help to get us there.

For now, this is a part-time, short-term volunteer opportunity that we’re happy to align with your internship, if helpful. With your help, one day soon we’ll be able to expand the summit to an established event that can sustain its own overhead.

Objectives of this role

With this role, we are looking to increase engagement with existing audiences and grow our followings on social media (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms as well). Our goal is to catalyze conversions from interested followers, to summit registrations, to active community members who tell their friends and colleagues to attend The New Face of Inclusion Summit.
