Break The Divide is looking for a videographer to support our Climate Skills & Community Building Fellowship. We are seeking recommendations for someone who can attend three in-person events, film parts of these events, and edit the footage into promotional videos.

Here are the criteria for the videographer:

Location: Toronto

Responsibilities:

– Event Attendance: Attend two in-person Climate Café meetings with international students and newcomer youth (approximately 2 hours each) and an end-of-program event in Downtown Toronto.

– Filming: Record B-roll footage of the sessions and conduct interviews with program participants.

– Editing:

– Create a longer montage video showcasing the program.

– Produce shorter videos highlighting participants’ unique perspectives on climate-related topics, derived from interviews.

– Generate short content for social media platforms, such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.

– Coordination: Work closely with the Break The Divide team throughout the process.

I have attached a one-page document with additional details about the position. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share this information with them.

Our budget for this position is $600, but we would greatly appreciate it if someone could offer their services at a discounted rate to support our non-profit initiative.

All interested candidates can email their resumes and work samples (if available) to Aria Kani at programs@breakthedivide.net. Thank you and we are looking forward to collaborating with you on this exciting project.

Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. The deadline to apply is June 10th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
