Adila Cokar, the sole founder of her consultant company, Source My Garment, has over twenty years of a passion filled journey working in the fashion industry. After graduating from Kwantlen University with a Bachelor in Fashion Design and the Fashion Marketing program, she went on to work for several apparel manufacturing companies in both Canada and the United States. In 2008, she launched, Pure Blankz Organic Fashion, a line of ethically-produced blank garments for designers to print on, which Apparel Magazine recognized, as one of the Top 40 Innovators of 2009.

After many seasons of balancing success with struggles, she came to the realization that all SME apparel brands have the same problem; the lack of time and manpower to keep up with the cyclical nature of fashion. Sourcing manufacturers who are socially responsible and the lack of offshore manufacturing expertise is also a major challenge for most start-ups. This is where Adila’s expertise lies. In 2014, she founded Source My Garment Consulting to address these problems. Her position in the company entails a variety of different roles, ranging from, product development, market analysis, manufacturing and sourcing garments overseas, Adila does it all.
