A lawyer and engineer by training, I am a project management and public policy professional who specializes in analyzing complex policy issues, developing business strategies, and leading project teams. My current professional focus is the design of digital technologies to help transform public access to legal information and services.

At Civic Tech Toronto, I lead the Law & Design Project, a volunteer-run project developing user-centered legal information products that engage, reassure, and empower everyday citizens.

I am also an organizer at Civic Tech Toronto - I help manage relationships with our partners and help organize our annual CodeAcross Toronto Hackathon.

Before leading the Law & Design Team, I was a founding team member of Open Democracy Project, the not-for-profit behind DemocracyKit.org and DemocracyXChange.

I am an active advocate for open legal information policies that can drive innovation in public services and spark new forms of civic engagement.
