Raised in Halifax, Dan has recently returned to Canada after completing a Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability in Karlskrona, Sweden. During this period, he was a part of a team that completed a Masters’ thesis on how social innovation hubs can support social entrepreneurs to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into their businesses. Dan also holds a Bachelor in Sustainability Studies and Community Development from Acadia University. Currently, he works as a program manager at the Canadian Coalition for Green Healthcare, a national not-for-profit dedicated to providing tools and resources for hospitals to plan towards sustainability.
Dan is currently enrolled in the Agents of Change: Sustainable Development Goals, course run by CSI. Other areas of focus include the Global Shaper's Halifax Hub, along with volunteering time with Halifax's Planning and Design Centre Board of Directors. An avid fan of basketball, improv comedy and music, Dan is always open to collaborate and explore creativity.
