I am a 22 year-old with a business of commerce degree from the University of Windsor. I currently work at CIBC on their commercial banking team where I am able to gain exposure to different industries and understand how organizations are solving problems through products and services.
In my spare time, I serve on the board of directors for the Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation. This allows me to give back to the non-profit sector and gain governance experience.
While completing my degree, I was the President of Enactus Windsor, a student-led organization focused on improving the social, environmental and economic health of Windsor-Essex through community projects, social enterprise development and crowdfunding events. I was responsible for leading a team of 140 students and operating 4 community projects that focused on entrepreneurship, women empowerment and youth empowerment. Enactus Windsor’s goal is to use the SDG’s as a guide on which problems to address.
I am well positioned to address the problems mentioned above because of my experience in the social entrepreneurship space, my entrepreneurial traits, and my passion for helping others.
