• Collaborating with FoodShare on cookbook to appear in spring, 2012. • Working with producer on podcasts about food sleuthing for my website. • I am beginning work on my memoir. It will include my family history which includes my mother's escape from the holocaust in Latvia as a teenager, her parents' stories (she, one of the first female doctors in Russia; he, an oil tycoon) and my father's roots on the mean streets of Montreal. It will also include the story of my childhood in post-war London and my career as Toronto Star food editor for almost 20 years.
