My name is Michelle and I’m a therapeutic coach who is passionate about teaching others how to repair, restore and renew their mind, body and soul. My expertise is in the area stress and anxiety management, and in chronic pain management. My program Inner Healing integrates evidence- based techniques such as mindfulness meditations, heartmath intervention, emotional freedom technique and biofeedback to enable my clients achieve heart and brain coherence. The state of coherence turns on genes that allows the body to heal and repair itself. It is also the state of creativity and optimal performance.
My professional background is in occupational therapy (OT). I did my masters in OT from Queen’s University and worked as an Occupational Therapist in the health care industry for over 10 years. Over the course of the years my own struggles with stress and anxiety made me seek out evidence-based tools to help me manage my own emotions and stress. This journey lead to the creation of the Inner Healing program that I initially used on myself and now use with clients to provide them with life-changing results. I believe when each of us can learn to find our own inner peace and end the hunger we experience within our souls we can all truly bring our best selves forward to creating solutions for ending world hunger and creating global peace.
I’m also a strong advocate for mental health and well-being and believe our mental health is as important as our physical health. I’m also the author of a self-help book called “You are Enough: A Transformational Journey into Finding Your Inner Happiness and Peace”, that will be out early next year. I love anything to do with personal growth and development, connecting with nature, travelling the world and being a mom to my six-year-old.
I love connecting with others, so feel free to reach out to me if you want to learn more about what I do and how I can help you.
