I lead a innovation oriented consulting company and publish a feminist business magazine, LiisBeth, which was a 2017 finalist in the Canadian Digital Publishing Awards 2017 in the small publication category.
Consulting: Eve-Volution Inc., is focused on helping social justice minded investors, nonprofits, companies, and governments design and launch forward-thinking kickass startup incubators, bootcamps and accelerators for under valued entrepreneurs whose ideas and dreams are trivialized due to gender, race, physical ability, age, heteronormativity and class. Our approach to creating incubators and accelerators is community-centered, co-creative, design-fueled and human-centred. We leverage evidence-based best practices, and full-stack thinking to deliver cost effective, investor-grade results to all stakeholders.

Prior to above, 18 years in progressive positions in the publishing industry in Canada and the US, and after 7 years as President of McGraw Hill Ryerson’s Higher Education Division in Canada, started an multi-award winning social purpose enterprise in a rural community--Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Company. Exited 2013.
Education: B. A Honours from Carleton University (Mass Communications/Journalism), completed several courses in Magazine: Design, Production and Writing at Ryerson over the years, and has an EMBA for University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
