The Honourable Glen Murray
Ontario Minister of the Environment and Climate Change
Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) – Agents of Change: Climate Solutions program
Fighting climate change is one of the most important issues of our time and requires everyone to do their part.
A significant challenge in the fight against climate change is finding and developing solutions that will help the world mitigate and adapt. You’re all rising to that challenge and facing it head-on, and we’re proud to support you as you continue to innovate.
Congratulations to the 21 organizations that were selected for the Centre for Social Innovation’s (CSI) Agents of Change: Climate Solutions program.
By developing new products and services that will increase people’s abilities to make low-carbon choices, you’re setting an example for organizations across sectors. You’re demonstrating that developing and investing in climate solutions isn’t only the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do.
Our partnership with CSI is part of an important piece of our plan to fight climate change. By supporting entrepreneurs and helping emerging low-carbon companies develop new clean technologies, shift behaviour and motivate low-carbon choices, we’re accelerating climate change solutions across the province and helping Ontario become competitive in the global clean-tech sector.
Through your participation in the Agents of Change: Climate Solutions program, you are helping us pave the way towards a low-carbon economy. We look forward to following your progress over the next year as you continue to develop and implement your climate solutions. The progress we will make together in our fight against climate change will help more Ontario households and businesses as we shift to a low-carbon future.
Glen R. Murray
Minister of the Environment and Climate Change
