A New Definition of Social Innovation

In 2018 the Centre for Social Innovation crafted a new, more inclusive definition of social innovation:

 

Social innovation refers to the creation, development, adoption, and integration of new and renewed concepts, systems, and practices that put people and planet first.

 

We believe that the adoption and integration of social innovation systems is as important to social innovation as the creation of new ones.

On Monday, January 22nd, CSI launched the official RFP process for anyone interested in the purchase of the storied brick and beam gem, 720 Bathurst St., that has been home to CSI Annex for the last decade.
