With the closure of our favourite cultural spaces and beloved watering holes, we have only our own belongings and minds to entertain ourselves.
When we’re left to our own devices, our creative juices start flowing. That innocent, boundless imagination and curiosity we were gifted with as kids has the potential to be unleashed again. The silliest, simplest things can bring about the greatest joy.
These puppets, for example, put on a wholly entertaining, appropriately themed performance:
A musically-gifted family from Kent recorded their own rendition of One Day More:

Here are a few ideas to entertain yourself at home:
- Have a stuffed animal perform your favourite musical number
- Recreate a scene from your favourite TV show with nothing but inanimate objects
- Dress up for a dinner party and prepare (or indulge in) an extravagant meal
- If you have an animal companion, create an (appropriately-sized) obstacle course for them to play in
