About CSI Annex

CSI Annex (720 Bathurst Ave.) is a five-story, beautifully-restored brick-and-beam building bursting with entrepreneurial energy. We bought and renovated this building, whose beginnings date back to the 1920s, in 2010 with $2M coming from the sale of Community Bonds.

  • 94 Wellesley Harbord at Bathurst

  • Bloor Line Bathurst Station
  • 19 Minutes Union Station
  • 20 Minutes High Park
  • 39 Minutes Queen & Woodbine

There is a Green P parking lot at 365 Lippincott Avenue (click to see map), just south of Bloor Street and two blocks east of Bathurst. The building is a four-minute walk from the lot, west on Lennox Street to Bathurst.

Ground Floor
The ground floor of CSI Annex is fully accessible for mobile devices. Guests will enter through the south-east door – the entrance is equipped with a lift.

Upper Floors
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th floors of CSI Annex are not fully accessible: they can be reached via an elevator with a door of 30” width. Functionally this means that while we are able to accommodate many accessibility devices, those using larger devices may need alternative arrangements.

Should guests wish to access the elevator and the upper floors they will enter through the north side entrance.

Instructions for Wheeltrans Drivers
Drivers should park in front of 720 Bathurst St. Ground floor guests will enter through the south-east entrance – the entrance is equipped with a lift. Upper floors guests will enter through the north side entrance – the entrance next to the elevator.

We are committed to ensuring all members and their guests are able to use our services. If you have any accessibility concerns or questions please reach out the Community Manager: gonzalo(at)socialinnovation.ca

Be Part of Something Bigger

Our membership includes many of the world’s most respected organizations, enterprises, and NGOs. Together, we’re building a movement of nonprofits and for-profits, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, artists and activists. We’re working together to create a system that puts people and planet first.

Our Founder and CEO Tonya Surman captured the CSI ethos in a couple of sentences:

“At the risk of being bold — but these are times that demand boldness — we have proven that our craft of social innovation can create thriving, solutions-oriented communities that can change policy, markets and culture, shifting systems and delivering huge impact here in Toronto, and across Canada.

And now, with your help, we want to prove it again. We want to help shape and create the Next Economy.”
