Benjamin Valles (he/him) is an avid socialist, Filipino, and one of CSI’s newest additions to the Events Team.

Benji started his career in event coordination as a child, as his mother ran the local immigration settlement agency in his hometown which meant his weekends were involuntarily spent as a catch-all worker for various fundraisers and community crusades.

Since then he’s worked as a Project Manager for a Formula Electric Racing team, an exhibition artist for DesignTO’s annual festival, and as a stylist for Toronto based musicians. Benjamin is passionate about teak wood furniture, banana bread, and finding cheap food in and around Kensington Market. He hopes to find more great spots nearby to share with the rest of the CSI community.
