Maria believes that storytelling and good design are powerful tools to inspire change. She holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Waterloo and a Certificate in Graphic Design & Visual Communications from OCAD University, combining her love of sustainability, social impact, and design. Her professional journey has taken her across various marketing roles, including working at a tech start-up, collaborating with a climate change documentary filmmaker, and supporting youth-led environmental action at a number of non-profit organizations. Outside of work, she can be found sewing, picnicking with friends, or scoping out her latest thrift finds.
