A recent addition to the CSI family, Peggy Sue joins us as Programs and Climate Ventures Manager. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Peggy Sue grew up with sand in between her toes. A formally trained Fine Artist, Apparel Designer, and International Relations enthusiast, she received her training at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and Brown University.
Today Peggy Sue has launched her second apparel company Peggy Sue Collection which has won multiple awards for its sustainable, hyper-local supply chain and design acumen. Espousing the practices of remarkable farmers, mills and makers, the textiles produced by PSC support bio-diversity, bio-dynamic farming and carbon sinking practices from fibre to finish.
TFI New Labels 2016 Winner, CSI Climate Solutions 2017 Agent of Change, Design Exchange’s 2017 Designer of the Year and Design Forward 2017 Winner, Peggy Sue has designed and curated the new CSI Climate Ventures space set to open in September.
Peggy Sue firmly believes in the power of intentional design and looks to cultivate the actions of those who passionately use their practice to build a sustainable future.
