Renee Ball

Climate Ventures Research Assistant

Back to Team page

Renee joins the Center for Social Innovation to continue her work on Toronto’s Green Industries Growth Initiative. Before coming to work out of the Climate Ventures office, Renee worked as an intern  in Economic Development and Culture for the City of Toronto after completing her degree in City Studies and Public Policy at the University of Toronto Scarborough. When entering university, Renee’s original intent was to study Biology, but after becoming disillusioned by transit in Scarborough, she developed a passion for public policy and community building.

Renee will continue to do the same work modelling Toronto’s Green Economy and helping to conduct an industry consultation of Toronto’s Green Sector. Outside of work Renee can usually be found cycling, searching for new sour beers to try, and stopping to smell the flowers.
